With a large portion of their perimeter running along the N2, Generations required a robust and reliable permitter security solution to ensures that its boundaries are carefully monitored, keeping its students and property safe. The Smart CCTV System at Generations consists of 180 Intelligent IP Cameras, 8 Network Video Recorders, 8km of CAT 6 cable, 3 tons of steel poles and a stand-alone fibre network all installed and configured by our skilled team of technicians. We have also positioned horn speakers at strategic points on the perimeter which allow for our offsite monitoring control room to communicate with potential intruders in real time letting them know that they have been identified and need to stand down. We have noticed a near 100% reduction in incidents where our clients have this set up installed.
